You would normally include a
short covering or speculative letter with your CV. A
covering/speculative letter is an explanation for
sending your CV.
Top Tips

Keep your letter short -
no more that one side of A4 handwritten,
word-processed or typed

Make sure it is factual
and accurate - always check spelling and grammar

Find out to whom your
letter should be addressed to

Avoid using standard
covering/speculative letters - employers can
spot them a mile off!

Be positive about yourself

Briefly make reference to
your skills, qualifications and experience that
match the employers requirements
Layout
Include your full postal
address followed by your telephone number at the top
right hand corner.
Include the recipients name
and address on the left hand side. Remember to
include the department and/or the title and position
of the person.
